We offer comprehensive advice for our patients regarding the care of their teeth.  We believe that oral health is very important with animals in poor dental health tending to have many other health issues as a result.  Our support starts with prophylactic management to prevent dental problems and assessment and advice with low grade dental disease.  When dental treatment is more extensive, we offer dental procedures within the practice.  We have a dedicated dental area with up-to-date equipment where patients can receive the best treatment available.

If your vet recommends a dental this will involve a general anaesthetic. Your vet will advise on any safety concerns and whether preoperative tests are advised.

We have a mobile digital X-ray unit that enables us to easily image animals’ mouths.  This enables the diagnosis of dental disease that cannot be seen with the naked eye but can cause dental pain.  Cats are especially prone to such issues which is why we include full mouth radiographs with all our cat dental procedures.
